The Lyrics
The M247 Sergeant York DIVAD (DIVision Air Defense) SPAAG was one of the worst AFVs ever built. The design was bad from the start b/c it was built on the obsolete M48 tank chassis which made it slower than the armor it was meant to protect! Second, the elaborate tracking radar did not work and with high elevation of the twin 40mm guns, the radar actually picked-up its own guns as targets!!! It had almost 5" of armor but the turret was too slow in traverse to hit a crossing target! This all added-up to disaster... but the US Army falsified test reports concerning capabilities and when found-out ultimately led to the cancellation of the weapon. Not even close to the German Gepard's performance!
