Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Patrick, another heroine for you. During WW2 there was a reporter (some say journalist) that worked for the Times that was marked for death by a Mafia hit squad. Her FBI protectors failed but this woman killed her would-be assassins herself! Worked for some domestic agency until Pearl Harbor and then joined US Army Intel. Tracked a German double-agent at GM and killed him as well. Was rewarded with a GM .45 Arbitrator custom pistol, was relocated, and had name changed to Bess Morgan Albright. A New Yorker, Bess was born in 1916 in Albany, NY and was known for her long, blonde hair and curvy body. People called her "Sunshine". One of many little-known heroines of WW2. The gun reward is also unique- a OOAK weapon. It is claimed to be a modified Colt .45 but is not found in their history. GM's Lamp Light Div. made Liberator pistols for resistance fighters in Europe.
Showed what a girl can do
was 29

Mafia hit squad after you
Lacked protection
Took own actions

Army hunted bandit
Spy runnin’ round
Encounter was deadly
Bess once again took enemy down

[GM Arbitrator reward found]

Showed what a girl can do
was 29
In ‘45

She was moved
She was moved
She was moved
Had nickname of “Sunshine”
Her long, blonde hair
And curvy body
Heroine divine

[Brave for the time]

Killed Nazi
Showed what a girl can do
was 29
(Name change for security)

I always like those stories when victims get the drop on their tormentors and blow them away. I've never heard of anyone actually being shot with a Liberator, except for a factory worker who accidentally killed himself while test-firing one at the factory. Some outfit is making reproductions with rifled barrels, to comply with the silly laws. I've seen a few test reports of gun writers firing them, only once! This woman has a story that is worth telling, but I can understand why she probably preferred not to have too much of it made public.

The GM .45 Arbitrator was said to be a modified Colt 1911, but I've never found it disclosed in any Colt book- ever. The German equivalents are the single Sauer Amboss that fired compression rounds, the Austrian and German-derived "flak gas" guns, and the test guns that fired German rocket bullets (although the actual rocket bullet pics ARE available)!

Hi Rob. Haven't dropped in on your many parodies for a while, though I see you have a solid, well-earned fanbase.. This story interested me, sounds like there's a good movie in it. Normally military history and weaponry don't interest me much, nor your marathon 'Spell-off' with JAB. It's nothing personal - just wanted you to know that. Also, I've heard you have a few medical issues. If so, I wish you the best.
