The Lyrics

Some songs just seem to run on forever. In this busy world we have to find ways to save valuable time. Here is another Listener's Digest condensed library of popular and folk songs.
There's a hole in the bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza
I'll buy a new one

She handed Charlie a nickle
As the train came rumbling through

On a cold and gray Chicago morning
Another fetus was aborted
In the Ghetto

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly
She spit it out

You load sixteen tons, and what do you get?
If it's cocaine, about 25 years in the slammer

The answers my friend
Are Googled on the net, the answers are Googled on the net

Go ahead and hate your neighbor
Don't you know I hate him, too

Don't think once, you're a dunce

Hey, Mister Tambourine Man
Go play somewhere else
I'm trying to sleep

Are you going away with no word of farewell?
I guess you are

Ruby, please take your love to town

Mama don't allow no parody writin' 'round here
And I always listen to Mama

Patrick, I think you've got some nice starter lines for some cool full length parodies. The "16 Tons" and "Blowin' in the Wind" lines work well and look like they have great potential. If don't want to work them, let me know.

I was trying to save folks time by changing the stories. I have another "Dirty Dozen Medley" out there. "I Took the Life of Ringo", "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, Leave 'em There". If you can use any of the above, go for it.
