The Lyrics

(Companion to: The War Monger Song)
I'm Mr. Peace Rally
I'm Mr. Cause
I'm Mr. Let's Picket
I'm Mr. Let's get along

They call me Peace Monger
They think I've lost touch
Have a sign in my clutch
I'm too much!

He's Mr. Peace Rally
He's Mr. Cause
He's Mr. Let's Picket
He's Mr. Let's get along

They call me Peace Monger
They think I've lost touch
Have a sign in my clutch

He's too much!

Thank you!
I never want to see a day
That I'm not fighting something
I live for every rally
Protest! Let's have a sit-in!
Oh some have a cause, but I take up every cause! Hee hee!

He's Mr. Peace Rally
He's Mr. Cause

Picket!

He's Mr. Let's Picket
He's Mr. Let's Get Along

They call me Peace Monger
They think I've lost touch
Have a sign in my clutch!

Too Much!

I love The Year Without a Santa Claus - because of Snow Miser and Heat Miser, of course. Nice concept, nice twist.

Thanks Spaff. Year Without... has always been my favorite holiday special for the same reason... slightly more because of Heat Miser, though. :)

No way man; Snow Miser rules. I think these were the first Melhi parodies I read and I remember liking them just from the titles. I got a new computer since then so I'm voting again HAHA

Claude: So *you're* the one who read these two when they went up. I wondered who it was! *g* So, if a parody lands on Amiright with a "THUD" and nobody reads it, did it make a "thud," at all? Thanks, man!

Cold Miser, eh? I knew there was something wrong with you. (Just kidding, of course!) I think I've always favored Heat Miser because I secretly (read: openly and quite vocally) wished he was real and would use his powers to make my nook of the northern hemisphere a sweltering tropical paradise, year round. :)

I think I used to like Heat Miser until Don King ripped off his hairstyle; also the other song is slightly more uptempo. But I prefer extreme cold to extreme heat; you can always put more clothes on but there's a limit to how much you can take off and so I think that scientifically I've just proven there's something wrong with YOU so there.

Yeah, you'd think that, wouldn't you Claude? But, if it's extremely hot you can peel down to your natural attire and cool off with just a little breeze and a splash of water. Water, unlike clothing, covers 3/4 of the Earth's surface and tends to fall from the sky once in awhile... not to mention that I've never seen a house equipped with hot and cold running sweaters taps! So there! :P :p :P :p

Yeah, yeah, I know... your employer probably encourages donning an extra pair of socks in December, but frolick nude in just one lawn sprinkler along you're route on a hot August day and it's like you "Ate Somebody's Pet" or something. *g*

Claude, gotta say it...ripping off someone's hairstlye sounds painful.

Thanks Melhi and Adagio for makin' me laugh; and Melhi I actually did hear about a guy who got in trouble for delivering the mail with his shirt off (I guess he was new)
Melhi - December 03, 2003 - Report this comment
Right back atcha, Claude. :) By "new," do you mean "new to the planet?" Kind of a no-brainer guessing that topless deliveries might be frowned upon.
Adagio: Ow, but LOL!

Thanks Claude. Good song, Melhi!

I wouldn't frown on topless deliveries. My mailbabe* is a hottie.

*Isn't "mailbabe" the correct PC term these days, Claude? I can never remember.
Claude Prez - December 03, 2003 - Report this comment
Actually, it's "mailmale" or "mailfemale". Not confusing at all. Unless you're both. Just kidding for now. Claude out.
Spaff.com - December 03, 2003 - Report this comment
Thanx for clarifying. I think for simplicity, I'll just call 'em all Claude.

But enough about you. Let's talk about me. I once had a girlfriend tell me I look like Snow Miser. (So for those who are wondering what I look like, there you go - I'm 16" tall with stuff hanging off my nose.) I replied that she *felt* like Snow Miser.

C4P's earlier comment reminds me of something else, too. I was in the video store the other day and saw one that caught my attention: DONKING. I thought it was a porn title (and a great porn title at that), so I grabbed it for a closer look. DON KING. What a disappointment.

Well, my mail lady (I think that's her real name) is not a babe, not ugly either, just kind of normal looking, but I hope she never retires... and if I ever move, I swear before I buy another house, I'm making sure it's on her route. You should see it in the summer, little kids standing at mailboxes, all morning, craning their necks the direction she comes from to deliver to their houses... even my wee one. She's fantastic. The female, Illinois version of Claude, I'm sure. :)

Spaff... ROFLMAO!!!!! You're right, good title. So, how did you meet you that girl... I'm picturing you on a stack of catalogs and phone books, in front of a computer screen typing, "Hi, I'm Spaff, I'm 16 inche..." and the girl taking it from there. *g*
