Song Parodies -> "Let’s Do New Year’s"

Original Song Title:

"Let’s Be Thankful"

Parody Song Title:

"Let’s Do New Year’s"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

“Oh, thank goodness George Briant fan is back to wish us a Happy New Year almost two weeks early. Can’t wait to see the next three hundred “parodies” about his latest obsession.”
Let’s do New Year’s, let’s grab our friends and sing,
A new year starts with Times Square's ball,
On New Year’s, for what the year may bring,
Let’s get ready for what may fall,

A new year brings thoughts, and dreams, and more,
2023 is our gift,
At midnight, drop balloons on the floor,
And get this past year over with!

Remember, that into every life,
On New Year’s Eve, there’s Times Square's ball,
This year gave us lots & lots of strife,
But soon it will end, after all!

At midnight, we'll shout, and cry, and share,
Beneath our humble roof above,
At midnight, we'll say our New Year’s prayers,
Let’s hope this next year’s one to love!
