The Lyrics

This is the final step on my climb to the Big Seven and I would have to say this was probably the toughest one for me. But it's all over now. :-)

I think the group I had in mind initially when this parody started taking shape were athletes. Many of them are "coddled" from a young age and given special treatment, free educations and millions of dollars because they can play a game well. But they also help make millions for the teams they play for. Don't get me wrong, I love sports, playing or watching. I just think they've been put on a pedestal that's waaaay too high. This could also apply to many actors, singers, politicians or anyone else who is out of touch with reality because they think they're "all that." OK, off my soapbox now, sorry. Enjoy the rant, er, parody.

I am a very coddled over-modeled poser popular
A combination moldable, foldable, less literal
I show the things of blings and then promote my might rhetorical
From New York out to Hollywood, I love me, narcissistic-al

I’m fairly well enamored, too, with grammar ungrammatical
I got cash and fans all nations, and they’re simple and fanatical
Devoutly cro-nies’ll cheer and I’m scheming with another ruse
With many weapons packed, I got the flair and you supply the fuse

With many beer-full pacts that tout affairs and all the pot I use
And many tearful facts amid the glare of all the nightly news
Or many fearful acts beyond repair, don’t care about your news or views

In every hood from large to small, indifferent to my excess
My ignorance prolific, fame is to be ignominious
Fall short in matters notable, spiritual, honorable
I am a very coddled over-modeled poser popular

Fall short in matters notable, spiritual, honorable
He is a very coddled over-modeled poser popular

My show a mythic mystery, enigma and a paradox
Wrapped inside a riddle, see, I’ve no witty way, just scares and shocks
I promote me incessantly, all the time I'm marvelously fabulous
In phonics I can bore, peculiarities magnanimous

I revel quite loudly, laugh like hell, I got it down more than you see
I hear your croaking, bores us, I'm the hog of all publicities
When I drink rum, I'm rude and bitch absurd, my constant din: abhor
And bristle at the care, bump that paternal nonsense, play the whores

I whistle through the air in that arena, I rise to the fore
My missile takes me where all that nocturnal fun's provided for
I wiggle here and there in the internal pathways of a whore for sure

When I've no fright at posh bling bill or hyperbolic media storm
And send you every email of the facts because press misinformed
In court it matters? Laughable, fans will swell, so gullible
I am a very coddled over-modeled poser popular

In court it matters? Laughable, fans will swell, so gullible
He is a very coddled over-modeled poser popular

Get back cuz I know that you're bent, why you keep on unravelin'?
And I can flex my might at any trifle come a'travelin'
With such awares no shorties can surprise or score very phat
I will take no advice see, but instead I'll tell you where it's at

When I have burnt my bridges that's when maybe I'll turn back to see
I'm just a prophylactic to the progress of my progeny
I thwart, what I've been chattering is detrimental apathy
Fool to the letter; poser popular can never have a plea

Cool play I, better poser popular man you will never see
Rules: they are for the major populace, but never would apply to me
Tool: for the major players popular to profit from me, from dumb me

For my dim and scanty knowledge, I'm the schmuck-y of the century
I'll surely be brought down and living in a penitentiary
My skills don't matter; laughable, minimal and visceral
I am a very coddled over-modeled poser popular

My skills don't matter; laughable, minimal and visceral
He is a very coddled over-modeled poser popular

Great take on the Big 7, blackjack!! I remember dealing with different groups of posers in my high school years! But the word "poser" gets used very often in school. 555!

This is the very model of a gentle mock of "General."

I've seen too many posers in every field over my lifetime. As far as sports goes, there's Tiger Woods in golf (I'm almost 100% sure he takes steroids), the Williams sisters in tennis (if you think about how Serena came unglued during a tournament a while back, you know how immature she is), Ron Artest and Dennis Rodman in basketball, and virtually everyone in professional baseball. Don't even get me started on Hollywood, Michael Vick politics, but all forms of popular music, especially rap, pop and what passes for country nowadays, are brimming with posers. I'm not a poser, although some have accused me of having an overinflated ego. 5s.

Congrats on the Big 7. Now just do each one two more times, and you'll have the Big 21!

Whoops, noticed just before voting that there are already three Sevens up on the table.... wouldn't want to vote and ruin that! :-D

Thanks Andria, lots of good examples, though I think Tiger is legit. A bit of a crybaby sometimes, but don't think he's roiding.

Thanks TT,TTTM. I'm thinking I'll run through the B7 once a year just for kicks. ;-) BTW, not superstitious in the least, can't afford to be. Damn the numbers, vote early and vote often! :-D

Wasn't superstition, just who on earth draws to a 21? ... But ok, done. 24, and yer busted! ... unlike the models. :-D heh heh
