Song Parodies -> "For He Is American (BHO)"

Original Song Title:

"For He Is an Englishman"

Original Performer:

Gilbert And Sullivan

Parody Song Title:

"For He Is American (BHO)"

Parody Written by:

Barry J. Mitchel

The Lyrics

Representative Diane Watson (D-CA-33) inadvertently boosted the Birthers by stating on August 27 that BHO "is from Kenya and Kansas". Considering his diverse, hectic and mobile childhood, I'd be surprised if his documents of origin survived. The dialogue between a bo's'n and shipmates in this OS may put the controversy to rest.
ALL. He is American!
BOAT. He is American!

For he unselfish said it,
Island state be due this credit,
That he is American!
ALL. That he is American!

BOAT. For he might have been Malaysian,
Half Kenyan, half Caucasian,
Or perhaps Somali-an!
ALL. Or perhaps Sicili-an!

BOAT. But in spite of calls impatien'
To see strong documentation,
He retains Hawaii-an!
He remains American!

ALL. But in spite of calls prolific, mate,
To see long-form birth certificate,
He retains Hawaiian!
We regain a natural-born once-again American!
The last line refers to his rumored dual or temporary citizenship elsewhere.

And more so than those who say he is not. And now he is commander our land's navy. And army. And air force, etc.

Thanks, all. In line 9 but not 10, perhaps I'd change "perhaps" to "a lapsed" for variety. TJC: is "n;" an emoticon? JB: Born in the Far West, governs from the Far East.

PI: I had tongue in cheek when I wrote "put ... to rest". I mentioned Malaysia, Kenya and Somalia because I know of his Muslim schooling and global viewpoint. (But Sicilian alludes to his Chicago way of muscling in.) I used "retain" near the end to mean he's not making full disclosure as required by FOIA.
