If I could sing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" to the tune of "Tom Dooley", does that mean I can sing "Tom Dooley" to the tune of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"? No. I can't sing worth a damn at all. But as the Japanese say, "Karaoke", meaning, "I can't sing, but I don't let that stop me". So here goes a verse in reverse that's even worse:

I wonder what would happen some St Patrick's Day if I started singing "Danny Boy" with the lyrics from "Die Fahne Hoch". I bet most would think I was doing some original Gaelic version of the song.
