With Christmas approaching, I thought I'd turn to a few carols for ruining. Here's the first.
WE’VE HAD A LOT MORE RAIN, DEAR
We’ve had a lot more rain, dear,
And it’s getting up my nose.
Why does our house get flooded,
Every time a big storm blows?
All of our other neighbours
Seem to get away scot free.
We need to get more sandbags,
Now they’re handed out for free.
It’s the same thing every time:
When it rains it pours.
Water comes in everywhere,
Soaking all the walls and floors.
Blame it on global warming.
Nothing but a bloody pain!
Not a lot we can do, dear.
How I hate this ruddy rain!
