It was no surprise to me that one of Barry Goldwater's closest friends in the Senate was Hubert Humphrey. So sue me! This (somewhat moderate) conservative Republican likes and enjoys the parodies of Michael Pacholek. Although we disagree in many ways, I salute him...and hope we aren't both dead by the next time the Reds and Yankees play each other in a World Series. ;D

The switch between third person and second person in the third verse did not seem to make sense, except that maybe it made for easier rhyming.
