The original "Rocky" was OK, but I still think Sly peaked in "The Lords of Flatbush" :-)
"Buffoon"
Buffoon
Your name’s Sylvester Stallone.
Was it your plan from the start
to be forever Balboa-in'?
Buffoon,
In Rocky I you showed a flair for
underdog flicks; now I despair for
endless sequels folks don’t care for.
Not suddenly you and Indy both bore me
And it is not just because you've grown old
Rather, your franchises have become hoary,
Too plot- barren to even grow mold.
Buffoon,
Now you’re also re-Rambo-in'
Why can’t you learn some new part?
Move on, now, let these alone.

© Stan Hall ... Thing is, the Indy same ol', same ol' is at least mildly entertaining, and I'll probably see the new one sometime after it's release on DVD. OTOH, having never seen nore of any "Rocky" sequel (or _any_ Rambo entry) than the snippet that amply evidenced its turn-offability is a for me point of pride almos, but not quite, on a par with never having worn a leisure suit. Rocky-wise, give me Jim Rockford's dad, or Lionel Hardcastle's. :-)
