Original Song Title:

"Blueberry Hill"

Original Performer:

Fats Domino

Parody Song Title:

"Blue Merry Pills"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

i found my thrill
with blue merry pills
those blue merry pills
help me get through

it cured my ills
those blue merry pills
just send me a bill
my dream's come true

the wand on this fellow raised
majestic and free
not once in my escapades
went jello on me

i'm with some tart
i'm hard as a drill
my hopes were fulfilled
with blue merry pills

I wonder if the fact they're diamond shape (I've been told) contributes to the hardness - 555

I assure you, Alvin, that Merry doesn't need blue pills. Nor Pippin. Whether they would even apply hasn't even, to the best of my knowledge, been established. And thank you for doing a Fats song (actually a Glenn Miller song first). Those of us who love his stuff were really hoping he'd get out alive.

Took some time to start me off with the first two verses, then for the rest of the song, it all went up. I liked it.
