The Lyrics

Geeks are made, not born. All that I am I owe to reference secton of the school library.

Atlas!
My fav'rite book for reading -
The data that I'm needing
Is there for me to see.

Atlas!
There's maps and charts and info.
It makes my intellect grow.
I love geography!

To find the latest census tally
Or the heigth of the Pyrenees
I open up my Rand McNally
And find much more than these!

Can't pass
A chance to take a long look
At that great oversized book.
I'm hooked on my atlas!

What is the capital of amiright? About $1.75! ;D

I know you're writing about maps, but i keep thinking mythology(Atlas). Can you locate Mt. Olympus on there? LOL!!!

I admit I enjoy reading the atlas. I keep a big leatherbound hard-cover Rand McNally that was my grandfather's in my living room, and rainy days like today (at least it's raining here where I am) are great for reading the world atlas, the Oxford English Dictionary, Roget's Thesaurus and the Encyclopedia Britannica, all from cover to cover. Great parody of a great old song, and 5s.

I saw MissEtta in Tahoe, she truly is a great singer; this song is so delightful to hear, while driving the COAST next to Maverick's . . . I love the swaying tempo of this tune.

This should've been thought of a long time ago, it's so fitting! At last it has. Anyway, 555 maps

I read this and "Shrugged". .. funny that the name Rand was worked in there.
