The Lyrics

This is one for Matthias and his Disney/Lucasfilms project (details here, if anyone else wants a go too.)

And here's a link to the original Disney song.

I killed a bad guy ‘cos I’m a Jedi, slishity-slashity-whoosh!
Look at my lightsabre isn’t it hot?

So then I made a visit to Vader, slishity-slashity-whoosh!
Thought he’d be happy but no he was not

Well I told him he was bad, he said he was my dad
When I took a stand he cut off my hand with slishity-slashity-whoosh! – Oh

But I’m not grievin’, I will get even, slishity-slashity-whoosh!
Take off his hat and his technique is shot
Slishity-slashity it’s such a tragedy

(Slishity-slashity, using-the-force-is-he

Yay! Sombody other than me writing parodies for the Disney Wars project! Great work here Wendy and I'm really happy to see you submit something this good cause then maybe even more people will join in! Needless to say I'm loving this and I was going to use this same tune to write Leia Don't Make Out With Luke

The Farce is definately in you Wendy-555! @Matthias- would love to participate in your SW adventure but have my own private SW books. I want to do my own parodies in song from my trilogy but that requires at least 90 songs to cover all 3. And I would have to do a synopsis for every chapter so that people could follow. I wanted to use a single artist with that many songs so Gaga is Number One choice right now after she releases ARTPOP, her 4th album with 50 songs so far (do not know how many she will use but she seems to want to set yet another record)!

Good job, Wendy, but not much to it. This would work well for kids' parties (and all the big-kid SW fans, of course), but don't count me in.

Thanks for all the lovely comments, everyone - much appreciated.

@Matthias: I like the sound of your version too! And look forward to seeing more of yours on this theme.

@Lifeliver: Yeah, that's the downside of this OS - really short, so not a lot to work with. It was fun while it lasted though :^) I'm getting the impression you're not a big sci-fi/fantasy fan? :^D

Since you asked, no, I could never get into the big franchises like SW and Trek, though I enjoyed watching the movie SFX (once is enough for me). Not Harry Potter either. But I like reading Michael Crichton, Ursula Le Guin, Robert Heinlein and others, and I'm a huge Tolkien fan. I note you write fantasy/SF - good luck to you. I have many published articles (former journalist) but I could never come at creating fiction somehow, (perhaps a good thing for a journo, eh?) .
