Parody Song Title:

"What A Difference Wednesday Makes"

Parody Written by:

Barry J. Mitchel

The Lyrics

I commemorate that moment, in the wee hours of November 9th in New York, when Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes put Donald Trump's tally over the required 270. Compare to the lyrics or listen to the vocal.
What a difference Wednesday made,
When that score of electors
Brought The Don to his Towers,
Where the news flew he'd reign.

My destined way was blue, fear.
Wednesday's the start of new, hear!
My groaning nights are through, drear,
Since I read blue was dyin'.

What a difference Wednesday makes.
There's a slain crow; she bored me.
Lies of government tore me
Since that hope-and-change miss,
That shrilling Ms.

It's heaven when blue
Finds no chance to continue.
What a difference Wednesday made,
And that difference came true.

Unfortunately, 7 weeks remain for a lame-duck Congress and 3 more for President Obama.

Perhaps "dyin" in line 8 is too strong; "cryin" is truer, as is "vain" rather than "slain" in line 10.
