| Parody Song Title: | "Ole Hum Bucker" |
| Parody Written by: | Harry |
My take on an traditional old folk song I used to hear on "Little House on the Prairie".
Ole Hum Bucker
Ole Hum Bucker was a wino man
He washed his face in the garbage can
He combed his hair with banana peels
And dined on ten dozen french fried eels
Chorus:
Get the lead out for Ole Hum Bucker
He's too dumb to get his supper
Supper's over and dishes smashed
Nothing left but a piece of trash
Ole Hum Bucker was a clown
sliding a rule and kicking the ground
Hound barfed and horse kicked
Threw ole Hum right over some bricks
Chorus
I went to pub the other night
I hear the boys were so uptight
One young man was really austere,
Yelling, "Old Hum Bucker stole my beer"
Ole Hum he bent down, bagged roadkill
he schlepped it home, he put on the grill
A trucker stood by the side of his truck
He never see'd such a man outta luck
Bucker is a weird old man
He likes to talk to Toucan Sam
He stands there whizzin' in the street
If he hadn't moved ass, he'd be dead meat
Chorus
Ole Hum begun in early life
To play the tin can with a knife
He played for horses and for sheep
And then into the ditch he'd retreat
Chorus
Ole Hum Bucker was a wino man
He washed his face in the garbage can
He combed his hair with banana peels
And dined on ten dozen french fried eels
Chorus:
Get the lead out for Ole Hum Bucker

Well done and good pacing...I parodied this old folk tune a couple times, and had about the same response...I guess not many know it..
thanks, AFW. It's a swell tune, but, I don't think anyone of this generation knows it, unless they watched "Little House."
