I am 50% French, so I'm entitled to parody this tune! ...... La Marseillaise, the French national anthem, was composed in one night during the French Revolution (April 24, 1792) by Claude-Joseph Rouget de Lisle, a captain of the engineers and amateur musician stationed in Strasbourg in 1792. And prove,
You're French my son!

Johnny D - works with the midi. Nice job. And quite a sonic combination with Tori Amos singing the "Star F*cker" part of "Professional Widow" in the background here this morning. 5's.

There was an early Simpsons episode where the mayors' son is making fun of a French waiter because of the way he pronounced "chowder" (Since the mayor talks like a Kennedy, it was supposed to sound like "chowdah". I'm sure you are familiar with that pronounciation.

Thanks, Cookie-man, Paul, Monsieur Philbo (no, I don't think I'll try it in French next time!), Adagio, and Rick D.

Paul: Torrid Anus sings something called "Star F*cker"? Wow! ;-D

Rick D: Yes, sometimes a nice bowl of chowdah is a good idear.

JD - Yup! The song is called "Professional Widow". And "Star F*cker" is not the only thing she sings in that song...
