The Lyrics
As she mentioned on an interview in the "Facts of Life" 1st-season DVD set, Felice Schachter ("Nancy") was originally going to be the main girl in this new show that was starting up. She became disappointed that Nancy wasn't given that much as far as being a major part of the plots. The first verse starts out mentioning the clothing Nancy wore in the "Facts of Life" pilot episode on "Diff'rent Strokes". The second verse lists every major thing Nancy ever got to do on the show, ending with what she revealed about herself in the 1986 reunion episode with 3 of the 1st-year girls. This parody is also meant as a tribute to the "lost girls" of the first year of "The Facts of Life".
