So I watched the live-action Barbie movie lately, and the part where Barbie talks to her creator was moving to say the least. But since the film was a rather self-deprecating jab at both the doll line and Mattel themselves, I thought I'd turn it into a melancholic rant about modern video games in general, e.g. with corporations pushing for cookie-cutter pay-to-win mobile games and even full-price releases succumbing to avarice.
