Parody Song Title:

"Church Fair in Broad Daylight"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Another song about the local "Germanfest" fundraising event that will be returning to my state in a few weeks, held by one of the churches here. Attending it is encouraged by them (but I don't recommend it, I still DEEPLY regret going on those inflatables at the event...)
Church fair in broad daylight,
Two days of it all,
"Celebrate in daylight
An old culture,"

There's no good band in sight,
No fast food you'll find,
If you prefer moonlight,
The church will change your mind!

Slides and obstacle courses
Inflated with air,
Try not to be forced in
To this culture,

"Give our church some money,"
They all shout and wail,
Don't attend, even if sunny,
They can fail...
"Dancing in the Moonlight" by Ben Pollack and his Orchestra. Just wanted to express my disdain for this event based on my personal experience.

REMINDER to everyone that the “Germanfest” “event” is being held again two days from now. If you live in the Topeka, Kansas area or know someone who does, please stay FAR away from this event. My experience with this event was a bad one because I embarrassed myself by going on the event's inflatables, and because of this, I am telling everyone to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS “EVENT”. You'd be better off staying inside that weekend and listening to “Dancing in the Moonlight”. Sorry but I just don’t want any more people embarrassing themselves on the inflatables at this “event” and regretting it for the rest of their life. This is for your own good!!!

I was thinking of traveling northward from Phoenix, Arizona to Prescott, AZ this weekend, just to avoid the summer heat. Its about 70 miles in the direction of your event, but still about 1000 miles away. So is that far enough away?

I think a thousand miles is good enough. Go ahead. Keep your money safe, though, you don’t want this church to suddenly ask for it from you. The “Germanfest” advertisements on TV daily are enough. By the way, I couldn’t find any related events in Arizona this weekend. A good song suggestion for your trip would be “Night on the Desert” by Ben Pollack. He would be proud of you for not giving your money to this “event”!
