Parody Song Title:

"I Angered the Devil"

Parody Written by:

One last “Germanfest” parody, and then I’m done.

The Lyrics

Last month, through the courtesy of my song parodies, the users of this site learned about the “Germanfest” event held in Topeka, Kansas, which returned after a two-year hiatus. Virtually nothing of interest happened. One month later, have the people who attended the “event” regretted their decision? Let’s hear the view of a hypothetical attendant, who now regrets attending...
I angered the devil,
I wanted to do things,
Felt so good to be no good,
Yet I angered the devil!

“Germanfest” had it all,
I thought I “beat them all”,
But I must pay for both those days,
The sins I gave the devil!

Thought I was a winner,
Sold my soul for dinner,
And now I’m a sinner,
Fires burn below; soon, that’s where I'll go...

Can’t go back and change it,
My money, I gave it,
You can tell,
I'll go to h*ll;
‘Cause I angered the devil!
I’m full of the devil!
