The Lyrics

When you send in your IRS forms, be aware that "These are the Good Old Days" of income taxes. Next year the cuts of 2001 & 2003 expire, and new taxes already have been and will be added. So my parody based on TOS may be one or two years premature.
Your "April Cowers" mean you must pay; [1]
They bring your glowers in gloom, dismay.
So miffed, you're straining to slow deep debts,
Because bank's busy draining your escrow [2]
And feigning vile threats.

Today those TEA crowds up on The Hill [3]
Too soon will see how Libs craft tax bill.
So keep on working for that new herd, [4]
Conservative and strong,
Whenever next election comes along.
[1] A nervous condition in which one tries to hide income, and failing that, identity or self from the IRS.
[2] The portion of a mortgage payment held by a lender to pay real estate taxes and insurance; also the payroll withholding or estimated payments held by the IRS interest-free.
[3] Tea Party protesters converge today in DC from around the nation (Taxed Enough Already).
[4] Get involved in finding and supporting novice candidates.

Bottom line echo: "November's slate they'll scour, dump Lib throng." In line 6, "those" could be "huge".
