The Lyrics

RAIN IS ALL AROUND

I see it in the fields,
I see it on the roads.
Rain is all around us
And with nowhere to go.

It comes in with the wind
Sometimes it comes as snow.
If anyone can hear me
We’d like it all to go.

The roads are flooded, rivers so wide
Try to keep dry but there’s nowhere to hide.
The rain keeps falling
There seems no end.
With climate change, it’s now the trend.

The rain first soaked my garden
And now it’s in my home.
It’s ruined all the carpets
And I feel so alone, oh yes I am.

I blocked the door with sandbags,
It then came through the floor.
I’m stuck here in my bedroom,
I can’t take any more.

The roads are flooded, rivers so wide
Try to keep dry but there’s nowhere to hide.
The rain keeps falling
There seems no end.
With climate change, it’s now the trend.

When will it stop raining?

Oh it comes in with the wind
Sometimes it comes as snow.
If anyone can hear me
We’d like it all to go.
We’d like it all to go.

I myself am more familiar with original version of the OS by The Troggs but I'd like to thank you for introducing me to a fantastic cover version! and the band is appropiately named given your parody's subject matter! 5's
