The Lyrics

This is a song that I feel could be used in AP Euro classes during the interwar period unit. I have tried to be historically accurate. Stalin was in many ways worse than Hitler because he killed more people and had a bigger influence which lasted into the 1990s.
Stanza I.
When Bolsheviks took over Russia
And lynched the royal family,
That Lenin dude helped out the soviets
And started up the NEP.
But the loyal Marxist Lenin
Died in 1924,
And then Stalin beat out Trotski,
Making peasants really sore!

Refrain.
I can see Stalin in you,
You have wrath right on your face;
He had it too,
Killing those he would rather not sue!
I see Stalin in you!

Stanza II.
"Collectivize all of the peasants!"
Such is the order Stalin gave
To all the troops, whom he had ordered
To send Ukrainians to the grave!
He then launched all of those purges
Making Hitler really pale
When compared with Russia's monster
Who had gulags off the scale!
(Refrain, except last line)

Bridge.
I see Stalin,
I see Stalin,
I can see Stalin in you!

(Refrain)

Tag. (2x)
I do!
I see Stalin in you!
So how did Hitler's brutality compare? At least Hitler trusted somebody!
