The Lyrics

Most of the time when a car alarm goes off, no one actually thinks a car is being stolen. Most people think, "Will someone shut that damn thing off!?" But what if someone's alarm went off and they ignored it, and their car actually got stolen. I'd bet they would feel like a putz.
Verse 1: Alarm me while I nap
It warns me like it’s suppose to
Here’s a little catch
I go to see and no one’s stealing you
Ooo my ears burn
Ooo my ears burn

Chorus: I used to run and check each time
Make sure you weren’t gone
I scoff and yawn, haven’t moved
What’s the point of alarm on?
The stealers you see are the stealers not spawned
Not real
I go to bed ignoring you

Verse 2: Alarm me once again
I sleep this time and leave you there
Not getting out of bed
The bitterness when I wake and you’re gone
Ooo the tears burn
Ooo the tears burn
Burn! Burn! Burn!

Chorus: I used to have a car but now
Was stol-en last night
It honked in fright but I snoozed
I feel like such a clown
The alarm went off and the alarm was loud
Pre-steal
I wish I would have checked on you

Outro: The alarm went off and the alarm was shunned
So this guy drove off with you
The alarm went off and the alarm shut off
Thought it’s a false alarm too
The one time I slide’s the one time it’s jacked
Jacked my car so now I’m blue…

Very pertinent point about car alarms! Thank goodness my car's too old to have one.

I wish I hadnt read the introductory notes...Spoiler Alert would have been good there. Highly original concept!

(Artistry) Oh the irony! Maybe the previous alarms were the criminals deliberately setting it off so that you would eventually ignore it. Ingenious! Much like your parody. 555!

I really hate car alarms because like you said they go off all the time and usually it's just some animal hitting your car or maybe even a strong gust of wind it's highly unusual for your car to actually be stolen so this was a very smart parody of a very annoying topic.

Oooooooooooh How I can relate. . .

Here in Texas the perfect time to steal a car would be during one of our many hail storms. The hail goes taptaptap on the cars, the cars all go Woop!Woop! and no one goes out to check on it. Inspired idea.
