Blackjack is a game where other player’s actions at the table can affect your hand. A skilled player is wise to not let this affect them emotionally. Because they know that mistakes by other players can help you as well as hurt you. They know it all evens out in the long run. So their advice when this happens to you? Get over it! Just a few definitions if you aren’t familiar with the game of blackjack: Hitting, standing, splitting, doubling and surrender are all plays that you can make on your hand. Ploppy is a term coined by a gambling writer named Frank S. It means “a poor to typical player” Ploppies outnumber skilled players by a wide margin. I don’t think Frank ever really said to kill them, but I’m sure some others have.
