The Lyrics

Oh, look, I get to do a reality check and poke fun at myself!!!! Yea!!!! Here's the link. I'm sure it's not Graham's fault. It's all the middlemen.
It's just two thousand bucks
But during this recession
I simply cannot feed my slight obsession.
Well I don't want to use my credit card
So, although this is hard,
And I'm sure that it's a smash,
I simply can't keep up with Mr. Nash.

Money that I can't afford to borrow
Well, I can't say I'd pay it back tomorrow.
Right, you guys, it only makes me glum
And you know that it's dumb.
And I can't afford the cash
So I simply can't keep up with Mr....
Mr. Nash.

It's two thousand bucks,
And this is a recession.
I'm sure Mr. Nash believes in self expression.
Expensive things leave a bad impression
It's not worth all the stressin'.

And I just don't have the cash
So I simply can't keep up with Mr....
With Mr. Nash.

Mr. Nash
Up with Mr. Nash
Mr. Nash...
Up with Mr. Nash
Up with Mr. Nash

Thank you very much! : ) Two observations since I made this up: first of all I double checked the price of the book and it's actually over 12,000. Second: the parody fragment that goes to the tune of Stone Temple Pilots' song 'Adhesive Love' goes: 'Expensive Na$h, expensive... expensive Na-a-a-a-aaa$h.....' Will poor (little rich) Graham ever live this down??? Of course... ; )
