Supposedly, "Molly (16 Candles)" was about Molly Ringwald (though I'm not positive about this), who starred in the movie "16 Candles". I think Ally Sheedy is a much better actress and that "The Breakfast Club" is a much better movie and I thought she deserved a song about herself just as much as Ringwald (supposedly) had a song about herself. One more thing, for those who have never seen "The Breakfast Club", "Allison Reynolds" is the name of Ally Sheedy's character in the film

DKTOS, but I liked your enthusiasm. Wish you could have done more choruses about her making a snowfield with her dandruff, or the Pixie Dust sandwich. :D
i saw that movie 100 times in my teenage years, molly ringwald and anthony michael hall and judd nelson and ally sheedy all totally rocked in it. i would give my left tit to go back to those days. Or even the 70s before all the brat pack movies, which all rocked my world by the way.
