ISIS moves forward as Nouri Al-Maliki begs for US intervention which Obama doesn't want to give to a Shia leader that has completely failed to bring democracy to Iraq and who has distanced himself from the Kurds, Sunnis, and other groups in Iraq. By refusing US military agreements in the past this has caused a slow response by the White House. Obama wants the praise of withdrawing the troops from Iraq but as REPs always suspected the poor Iraqi military is no match for armed insurgents and now they watch as the Iraqi military falls to pieces w/o US airpower to back them. As Obama delays action under DEM opposition, ISIS gains more ground and may threaten Baghdad itself. Iran also politically trumps Obama by offering to help in a joint mission to protect Shias!!! Obama appears f*cked Left and Right. A carrier is on its way and so far limited drone Intel w/o eyes on the ground... makes the US look stupid. ISIS is more of a threat to US security now than Al Qaida in practical terms b/c it is consuming strategic territory that will be used to plot against the US in the region and to our borders.

A note to the uninformed: ISIS is now forming their own Special Forces and is being supplied well through various sources with armor, small arms, AA guns, and may aquire WMDs in the future from Syria or Iran. Anyone that thinks ISIS is trivial is ignorant IMO.
