Parody Song Title:

"New Lime Coca-cola"

Parody Written by:

Drewster The Rooster

here comes a special, all new range
never mind, the taste is strange
have you tried the new coke with lime?

selling fast at hot dogs stalls
kids are drinking 'em in the malls
have you tried the new coke with lime?

someday you will buy it
succumb to the landslide
try the new lime coca-cola, it's alright

someday you will buy it
succumb to the landslide
try the new lime coca-cola, the new lime coca-cola, not the sprite

how much for the coke with lime?
two-fifty? oh what a price
i'd rather have a juice coz i am tight

the ads are a lot of balls
i will not answer the call
will not try the new coke with lime

someday you will buy it
succumb to the landslide
try the new lime coca-cola, it's alright

someday you will buy it
succumb to the landslide
try the new lime coca-cola, the new lime coca-cola

coz people believe that they're gonna be cool if they have some
but you and i will never try
the new coke with lime, we've gotta fight
fight fight fight fight

there goes the special, all new range
people know the taste is strange
now they've tried the new coke with lime

try to flog em cheap in stores
people think they're such a bore
now they've tried the new coke with lime

nobody will buy it
original, they don't mind
the new lime coca-cola, say goodbye

nobody will buy it
original, they don't mind
the new lime coca-cola, the new lime coca-cola

and people believe
that coke's gonna bring out a new one
that you and i will never try
the new coke sublime, we've gotta fight
fight fight fight fight

(a whole bunch of nah nah's accompanying the guitar solo)
(bird sounds)
(another guitar solo)

here comes a special, all new range
never mind, the taste is strange
much better than the coke with lime
old coke with lime (x8)
even though its not there in the song, i've got a final chorus'someday you will buy itsuccumb to the landslidetry the raspb'ry coca-cola, apple coca-cola, dogsh*t coca-cola it's alright'

Is this really by Drewster the Rooster? When it was submitted, the author name said Dooster and I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a typo or not, but changed it anyways.

Coke tried its own parody: "You put the lime in the Coke, you nut, and drink it all up." (As opposed to "...in the coconut...") The drink is worse than the song. The Pepsi version isn't very good, either.

I've tried that before. It tastes good, in my opinion.
