Pacing 2, funny 1, overall 1. You need to really look at a song when you do parody of it, I would have given you a higher rating in pacing at least if you would have wrote it better. This is the first time I've ever given a 211 on a parody(the second lowest was 333), this one needs a serious rewrite. This is coming from an experienced Nirvana parody author.

Actually, the pacing in the chorus is way off and he has only has half the lines he should for the 1st three choruses, and only has three lines in the final chorus(there are 20 lines in the last chorus on the studio version), the only thing he did a half decent job on was the verses(which are better paced the choruses), that's what kept me from giving him a 1in pacing(I gave him a 2). My rating would have been better if he didn't do hack job on this one.
I went through grunge, and I know exactly where it started. The first Foo record was tolerable, the rest awful. Grohl did make his fame on Cobain's back, just like Courtney Love. Grohl is the Uriah Heep of grunge, along with Pearl Jam. Neither one can write a true metal riff to save their lives, which AIC, Soundgarden, AND Cobain were capable of. Nirvana could be pretty or dirty. FF is just generica. I still give Grohl mad props for his drumming in Nirvana, but he, and the Presidents, made sure grunge died a prolonged death. All should've packed it in a long time ago, but they get paid and the media gets meaningless filler, which it prefers over the true rebel that Cobain exemplified more than anyone else in grunge.
I totally agree with Jackson Seatac. Foo Fighters 1995 debut was great. Terrific riffs, excellent drumming and not without humility - Grohl often mumbled the vocals. A likable combination. Ever since then, for some reason he's apparently decided that his voice is the most important instrument and it must dominate everything. Annoying! And, all their later songs just sound like filler and I want to immediately turn them off. No thanks!
You're right...the fool fighters do indeed suck...They are a bunch of washed up musical hacks.....I'm so sorry they ruined "Top Chef" episode this season...As a matter of fact I wish they had choked to death on the food. That would have been just right.
