The Lyrics

This is a new version of my parody, which I submitted October last year. Most of the lyrics are new, with a few from the two other versions tweaked to pace better to the original song. This version goes to the studio outtake from the WTLO box set.
Rinna kept a secret, Yangus ran a mile
Chiyo is delighted, you can see her smile
playing Dragon Warrior, when my day is done
Yomi looks so pretty, walking in the sun

Ranma told 'em, what he did
Lum can find me, where I hid
Kurt was writing, what he knew
singing spacey, I can too
Mii's the reason, that she heals
Mai will show 'em, it is real

Kurt Cobain and Courtney, staying up so late
Jessica's so sexy, she's from D.Q.8*
Hyatt's medications, keep her stomach full
Futaba and Poemi, in a dark classroom

See Futaba's, longing stare
for Poemi, she will care
Krist and Dave will, tell me true
of the songs that, they went through
see Elgala's, drunken daze
Ai will puff-puff, me today

Mmm... mmm... mmm... mmm.......

Umi looks so lovely, will she want to date?
Angelo's so charming, he's from D.Q.8*
Watching Tenchi Muyo, when I'm feeling cool
Misha and Sakaki, swimming in a pool

Ran is meaner, is it Lum?
Kurt was reading, Dave can drum
All the lyrics, that I drew
of Nirvana, and D.Q.**
Krist can guess why, I obsess
all the themes that, I address

Mmm...
*D.Q.8 is short for Dragon Quest 8. **D.Q., of course is short for Dragon Quest. The reason for so many commas in this submission is to help show the pacing(Each lyrical line has two parts). How many character references can you find? Let me know. =)

I can't vote, because I don't know the original song. Based on my limited Nirvana/anime/video game knowledge, can't say I get all the jokes, but I'm pretty sure I know where you're getting out. Nice lyrics. As for a parody, I don't know how it turned out

Well, it wasn't wrote with humor in mind, so it's more of a play than a parody. Alas, both of my parodies this week prove my theory further, no matter what I do, in the end it doesn't matter.

This is actually a remake of a parody(play) that I wrote and submitted last year, I wanted to make a better overall version of it.

Haha, nice. Although, i can't imagine nirvana and anime at the same time..

Yeah, this is just one of those ideas that I've played around with, just a nonsensical mix of themes. Not so much funny as it is silly and weird. =)

There's a gospel song lyrics link on this parody, why I don't know.

Great job on the 3 things that I know you love. 555, and was the line "Krist and Dave will, tell me true of the songs that, they went through" directed to AmIRighters Kristof Roberston and Below Average Dave?

Thanks man. :) It's actually a Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic reference of the Nirvana box set that came out in 2004.
