The Hits and TMF are pretty lame too - all those R & B acts and girl groups. Yecch!
Over here in Holland, only TMF and The Box play mainly hip-hop and other urban genres. MTV altered its playlist and now it plays actual bands like Foo Fighters and Bloc Party. I very much enjoy watching MTV in 2005.

I very much enjoy watching MTV in 2005" i disagree rap has overpopulated television and it really angers me that the bands that are actaully good never get played every 6 hrs youll see a rock song but i'd rather be watching fuse, but we are all entitled to our own opinion though.
I've said this before: rap on the music channels these days (2005) is pop (pop in the sense of popular music), and I don't pay any actual attention to most pop in the first place, so I can't be bothered. They can't BAN other genres, right?
