Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

This parody is about finding one Kurt Cobain's earliest demos, which is called Fecal Matter. I(like alot of heavy Nirvana fans) would like to have a copy of it.
Let's take a trip, trip
to find his demo, yeah
let's take the time, time
we'll plan a route, route

I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna find his earliest demo
I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna go, hear what I say

Let's take a trip, trip
we will not fail, we won't fail
we search every road and every trail
for his demo, yeah

I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna find his earliest demo
I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna find his earliest demo
I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna find his earliest demo
I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna go, hear what I say

Let's take a trip

I'm gonna find the Fecal matter demo
I'm gonna find the Fecal matter demo
I know you want to as well
it will be a unique find

First off, we will need a mode of
transportation to get us going
and we'll need money and supplies
to help us get the set of wheels that
will aid us in our special little ... quest

We'll open up a shop in a fleamarket
selling lots of handmade and used
things to get all the money that we will need
to purchase the supplies for making the
vehicle that we're going to drive in

Then we'll get alot of sheet metal
we'll get alot of sheet metal which
we will weld into a cubic type frame

Then we'll get a couple of old seats
and we'll fix them up, then give them
a real thorough cleaning and then we'll
fasten them onto the cubic metallic frame

Then we're going to go to the junkyard
we're gonna go to the junkyard and get
engine parts, axles and some tires

And then we'll take the engine, axles and tires
and use them to finish making our go-cart

We'll drive it to Aberdeen

People will be wondering why we're driving
a go-cart across the country

But it will be worth it when we find the
legendary Fecal matter demo

I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna find his earliest demo
I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna find his earliest demo
I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna find his earliest demo
I'm gonna go, go on a journey
I'm gonna go, hear what I say

This was the most challenging parody I've ever done, but it was also alot fun to write.

I was wanting to post it on livenirvana first as I wasn't sure how well it would be received, however they are in the process of updating(for the last 4 days and counting)so I ended up submitting here first. Oh well, I guess a song parody about looking for the Fecal Matter Demo wasn't the best idea; but I wanted to try it anyway.

I wish I could vote on this, but the only hidden/unrealeased /lost songs I have are of AIC. I cant say it rhymes well, but maybe the original didn't either, so oh well. I have never seen a parody submitted that got a 111 AND ANY explanation why, but it seems to be common. But I will say any parody is special to whoever wrote it, and good job for trying.

The original song recording(on WTLO) was from a rehearsel when Kurt and Krist had Aaron Burkehard as their drummer. The song is like a work in progress, an idea Kurt was toying around with. He starts saying things about opening a fleamarket and making crafts to sell. The original lyrics don't rhyme very well at all. It would have been a cool song for the Bleach album if it were worked with a bit more.
