The last time the A's won a postseason series was in 1990, and that shouldn't even count, because they had the Curse of the Bambino on their side. Billy Beane is a failure as a general manager and should be fired, so that the A's can finally build a champion. Even the Giants have won a Pennant since the A's last did. And take down those Philadelphia banners from the Whatever We're Calling It This Year Coliseum. It's unbecoming as well as unsightly. In the meantime, you'll never get past the Minnesota Twins. And, if you do, the last time the A's beat the Yankees in a game that really mattered, they still WERE in Philly. (1931) Cheer up, you can still watch the Yanks beat the Cardinals in the World Series on Channel 2.
