I wrote this for my girlfriend, who was a fan of Rupert and Martina McBride.
He swims around with his spear in hand
Nobody else wants to leave the sand
Wearing the same skirt he wore yesterday
He catches fishies and he feeds his tribemates, ooh
Sometimes he wonders if he's coming back
It's hard to see his friends behind their masks
Bearing a beard and has a heart of stone
He hopes he never has to go back home
Through the wind, and the rain
He stands high as he's strong
In a world that will not want him gone
But his dreams turn to screams
When he goes to the place where he's done
Tribal Council
Somebody cries in the middle of the night
He wants to leave just to see his ol' wife
A plastic bag in which he kept his snake
When morning comes, it'll be too late
Through the wind, and the rain
He stands high as he's strong
In a world that will not want him gone
But his dreams turn to screams
When he goes to the place where he's done
Tribal Council
A torch it stands in a shaded place
Held by a man with a beared face
A name was written on a parchment rock
A broken heart that the team forgot
Through the wind, and the rain
He stands high as he's strong
In a world that will not want him gone
But his dreams turn to screams
When he goes to the place where he's done
Tribal Council
Nobody else wants to leave the sand
Wearing the same skirt he wore yesterday
He catches fishies and he feeds his tribemates, ooh
Sometimes he wonders if he's coming back
It's hard to see his friends behind their masks
Bearing a beard and has a heart of stone
He hopes he never has to go back home
Through the wind, and the rain
He stands high as he's strong
In a world that will not want him gone
But his dreams turn to screams
When he goes to the place where he's done
Tribal Council
Somebody cries in the middle of the night
He wants to leave just to see his ol' wife
A plastic bag in which he kept his snake
When morning comes, it'll be too late
Through the wind, and the rain
He stands high as he's strong
In a world that will not want him gone
But his dreams turn to screams

Through the wind, and the rain
He stands high as he's strong
