i've been alot of places
been all around the world
seem some really nasty faces
on lots of boys & girls
& after all of that mess, it still amazes me
some of the disgusting things i wish i've never seen

kids make messes with their 2 little hands
oh no there just went the garbage can
they throw their food from room to room
i need a wet/drt vac, not this stupid broom
they give new meaning to the young and the restless

the walls are colored with crayons, they call it fine art
what just flew by my head, oh no, they're throwing darts
the cat's litter box is not where thier supposed to play
and i won't get no rest until my kids are raised

kids make messes, ain't it the truth
is that my kid on the neighbor's roof
they run through the house like they've lost thier mind
or maybe they just want me to loose mine
still i have to say that the lord has blessed us,
