Was Socks a Republican?...I cat say that I'm very fond of any felines...but good sentiment here.

Great job on this parody. Although I didn't like Bush Sr. (or W. for that matter), I thought that Socks the cat was very cute. He was very old, however, and old things can die very quickly. (Just try telling that to a Model T Ford enthusiast or rockhound, they wouldn't believe a word of it.) 5s.

Thanks, Cougaress. Socks was a remarkable cat because of the way he was so nonchalant in front of the paparazzi and the way President Clinton interracted with him. He was often seen riding on the president's shoulder.
