This song is based on, at least in my opinion, one of the greatest shows on Nickelodeon: "Hey Arnold". The cartoon premiered in 1996. I have watched it religiously since the premiere. Six chacters will be mentioned in this song: Arnold, Helga, Lila, Wolfgang, Harold, and Eugene. Helga is in Arnold's fourth grade class. Even though she treats him like a dolt, she has had a crush on him since the first episode. Lila is nicknamed "Mrs. Perfect." She is a red-haired, braided girl, who is so annoying. She is always trying to interfrere with the love of Helga's life. Harold is fat, and has a really loud voice. Wolfgang is in the fifth grade, and is also a bully. Eugene is called a jinx by everybody, because he is always falling, tripping, slipping, or is just generally unlucky. The first few lines, until the words about Eugene, may not crack you up, but I tried. Also, keep in mind that the word "Arn'", which is used in the second chorus, is an abbreviation of Arnold. (Weird Al Yankovic used "Lar'" as an abbreviation for Larry in one of his songs, "I Remember Larry.") Oh, one more character: Brainy. He stalks Helga all the time, breathing behind her back, and she always punches him.
