The Lyrics
Inspired by Red Ant's parody, of the same OS, also about the unintelligible quality of many of Enya's songs. All but the last four stanzas are intended to be interpretations of the OS lyrics, those last four stanzas emphasize that many people cannot understand what Enya is singing about in most if not all of her songs. None of the parody save the last four stanzas is intended to make a bit of sense.
Disclaimer: I am a great fan of Enya's music, and have almost al of her CDs, so the last four stanzas are not autobiographical by any means.
*chyme: pronounced "kime", rhyming with "lime", a name for partially digested stomach contents.

New Age music ain't my cup of tea, but this parody is.
Oops... realized that Ant's parody of a similar nature to this wasn't of the same OS but was still an Enya song. Think I got mixed up with Agrimorfee's Frankenstein parody. :-)

I also am an Enya fan, too! I have her box CD called "Only Time: The Collection" has most of my fave songs in it, except for "Only If". I just listened to "Bodicea" earlier, but now I'm listening to one of my favorites called "Cursum Perficio". She has a voice of an angel when she sings whether it be Latin, or Gaelic. Yeah, sometimes I couldn't quite place her lyrics. 555's for this no-nonsense written parody!! Great as always!

Yes, I am. I got lazy and started using the abbreviation for comments. I've only submitted 4 parodies this year, but have read and commented on a number of them until late February. I was without internet much of the time while away from home for a few weeks too.
Hehe! I like Enya's music too but agree she can be a bit unintelligible! Lots of funny lines here, and I especially like the first two; I imagine a chimp breaking a monk's toes by throwing bagels at him. Maybe covered in ice cream...

It saddens me that Red Ant has read this one yet because it was his parody that sparked this one I'm betting. Well done following in his footsteps with another random song by Enya.
