The Lyrics
As a college football fan north of the Mason-Dixon line, my favorite teams are Ohio State and Notre Dame. I generally pull for any Northern team to win a championship (even if that team has to be OSU's hated rivals Michigan), as most of the national titles in the two-poll era have been won by teams in the South. OSU, the winner of the first College Football Playoff in 2014, is the only non-Southern team to do so, which was also officially true of the BCS era. As of this parody's publication, the North has never placed more than one team in the CFP in any given year, nor has a Northern team advanced to the CFP in consecutive years.
