| Parody Written by: | MrMacphisto |
This is my sequel to "Strike the Leather." It's yet another song about the Marquis de Sade, and it's a bit more on the serious side.... The movie "Quills" was part of my inspiration for this one....
You've shook, you've shook... now try to breathe
Having all my way with you
We'll play all night, don't stop to sleep
And know that you will always bleed
Your trembling's a bore
Told to a domitor
Every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll say my name
Every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll know I reign
Don't talk of love, this shallow word
Moaning now would do for you
My walk with girls is never pure
I rend apart whatever's true
'Cause nothing you will ever say
Tells me what I cannot do
Still every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll scream my name
Every night you'll squirm
Every night my dream's insane
Every night you'll learn
Writing for my only friend
Every night I'm spurned
Waiting for this world to end
They'd hang my face in gallows style
Somehow, this is deja vu
Oh, it doesn't matter how you fight
[They'll] blind you with their petty rules
So slide back down and close your eyes
Try to smile, or I'll use pliers
And every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll say my name
Every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll know I reign
[2x]
Every night you'll squirm
Scream those animal screams
Every night you'll learn
To be libertine
Be a libertine [4x]
Having all my way with you
We'll play all night, don't stop to sleep
And know that you will always bleed
Your trembling's a bore
Told to a domitor
Every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll say my name
Every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll know I reign
Don't talk of love, this shallow word
Moaning now would do for you
My walk with girls is never pure

'Cause nothing you will ever say
Tells me what I cannot do
Still every night you'll squirm
Every night you'll scream my name
Every night you'll squirm
Every night my dream's insane

I really like this? Might we have another?
Thanks... :) Perhaps, I should write another about "Venus in Furs?"
DKTOS so can't vote, but I love the comment Leopold. this looks shakespearian on the page - such a weird movie - Geoffry Rush was superb
Thanks, Stuart... :) and yes, Rush was as good as always... I liked his portrayal of Sir Francis Walsingham in "Elizabeth" even more...
yes, and his voice in that claymation film that won this year's Academy Award, Harvey Crumpet
