Here, for the record, is a song about Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. Weird Al Yankovic gave me the idea for the song, and it's also one of my friend's favourite Weird Al parodies.
Once, there was this kid who
Got into an accident and couldn't play his concert
And when they finally found him
He was found dead along with two other guys
They said that it was from when the plane had crashed so hard

Once there was this man who
Said that one day he would be the best guitarist ever
And when he finally made it
He had already choked on his vomit
But still despite his sudden death
He had fulfilled his big dream

If alive, they could've been glad
Cos one guy had it worse than that
Cos then there was guy who
Ran away from rehab, and suddenly went missing
And when they finally found him
They found his brains all over his walls
They couldn't quite explain
Was it suicide or murder
