We've got six, Jeff, all rescue-mutts or butt-ins, love 'em all! And I loved this parody, great job! 5 scratches times 3! Just one thing, why did you go with poop scoop instead of poop scoopin? (Not that it doesn't work just fine that way). Btw, if you have time, I wrote a kitter farce, too, entitled "(Who, Who, Who) Dropped that Log on the Floor?" Again, great work, Jeff, gonna read more of yours!
Rod, good catch on the title, I wrote this when I was just starting to get into country music (thanks to my wife), and simply missed the "scoopin" instead of "scoop". I only have two cats (both from shelters), but volunteer at a shelter to get my fix of cats. I'll take a look at yours too! (ABC) I liked another semi-parody I heard, "Butt Scootin' Doggie", a little better. This one's "aiiight", as Randy Jackson would say.
