The Lyrics

The forgotten Britany song. I actually recorded this as a song.
You tell me that I sing off key,
that fact alone is true because I'm Britany.
It's not that I don't want to sing,
you must admit I come quite close to harmony.
What I really need is help with these words I say,
cause they're not that good.
So if you wanna help me
sing well,
there's things about me you just have to know...
Sometimes I rhyme...
sometimes I don't.
I'll miss a note or two,
and when I'm warming up no-body is spared,
the deaf get scared.
I'll practice day and night,
maybe all I need is time.
I don't like be so sharp
everytime I sing high "C" a few dogs die.
Hope that you'll give help to me.
you'll see that,
I can top Jewel in my sleep!
Please teach me to sing before I get old and grey,
'cause I'm only 20.
It seems I have a long way to go,
it's just as likely,
that in hell it snows...
Sometimes I rhyme, (sometimes)
sometimes I don't,
everyone's scared of me
but they just aren't used to my special key,
it makes ears bleed,
maybe I'll need a priest
(all she really wants is to sing all right- could take some might)
I'll practice day and night,
I'll catch up to Lee Anne Rhymes.
It's time to warm up with me!
I doubt that I'll hit this "D,"
plug your ears it's
NOT PRETTY!
I don't know ho-w
you survived.
(I-I can't sing)
Don't think I'm done! (not quite)
my key just changed.
Went up the scale by two,
in hopes that maybe I can sing "E" tonight,
I wasn't right,
guess that I suck tonight...
Sometimes I rhyme...
sometimes I don't (repeat to fade).
Ironically, most of the lyrics do, in fact, rhyme.

Great parody, although the pacing seems to stumble some places inbetween. And she's actually 21 now lol. Good work nonetheless.

YES! Very well done. Brittney deserves all the crap we can throw at her. A recording engineer tells me she uses a machine that actually corrects her pitch problems when she sings live, and I believe it. d;:^)
