I wrote this thinking that fellow Mario fans would get a kick out of this :)
Mario: Gotta keep
One run across the goombas
One swing ahead of the trap
Just won, now on to the next map
(It's a living)
One stomp on top of Dry Bones
One swing ahead of the pit
Just won, all without getting hit!
[Villains:] Good guy! He's fat! Plumber! Take that!
[Mario:] Now I shall attack guys
[Villains:] Jumping, stomping, we just despise
[Mario] Gotta take the coins then grab a shroom
It's the only way that I will grow
[Bowser:] No!
Oh, I'm glad Mario's hit the bottom!
He can't save his Princess Peach this time!
I'd blame Luigi, except he hasn't brought'em
[Mario:] Gotta run to live, gotta live to run
I'll fight you, Bowser, after I climb!
One leap ahead of the Bob-ombs
One hop ahead of my doom
This house looks more like an evil tomb
I soar ahead of the Cheep-Cheeps
They fall right into the pond
Skip this, I think I'll use my magic wand
[Villains:] Stop, cheat! Zero! Princess' Hero!
[Mario:] Let's just beat this castle
[Luigi:] But I think it's just a hassle
[Mario:] Gotta save the girl, gotta girl to save
Otherwise, you just behave!
[Villains:] Wrong!
[Mario:] One skip ahead of the Ninji
(Good guy!)
A fiend as black as night
(He's fat!)
One trick ahead of disaster
( Plumber!)
They're quick, but I'm much faster
( Take that!)
Here goes, gotta face the last boss
Or a painful health loss
All I gotta do is fight
