The Lyrics

This is a song about running and the runner's high. When running for Long Slow Distance I feel a state of bliss that makes me feel like I can go on all day. This bliss is said to be similar to the kind that people get from a marijuana high. This is what has inspired me to write songs about running. If I can write 10 songs I would consider recording an album. The link to the Original P.O.D can be found on youtube. L.S.D. stands for Long Slow Distance for those who want to know.
(Chorus, Poetic Runner #2)

My buddy lets get L.S.D-ded. (So runner's high am I)
A pair of Nike's is all that's needed. (So runner's high am I)
My buddy lets get L.S.D-ded. (So runner's high am I)
A pair of Nike's is all that's needed. (So runner's high am I)

Poetic Runner #2

Hey all you fellas peepin.
I'm glad you're seein me fleetin.
I am what I am.
That hardcore runner from the great City of Cleveland.
Yeah, you outta come join this runner's party.
Experience out of body.
Come get, come get, come get runner's high with me.

(Repeat Chorus)

Poetic Runner #3

Lets all get lifted blissed and listen.
I'm runnin and feelin so high and flighty.
Now I've been runnin all day long L.S.D-ded and fleetin in my Nikes.
How many miles did I manage to run about a hundred man.
Some fellas tell me I'm crazy, insane, my brain severely blunted.
There aint no shame up in my game.
Anandamide and endorphin.
Yeah even the stress'll still be comin.
So lets just keep runnin.
For those who be wonderin.
Poetic Runners givin you what you need.
Know that if you L.S.D.
You'll know the runner's high is dope indeed, Yesiree.

(Repeat Chorus)

Poetic Runner #1

I be so high. Feel high.
Forgive me Lord but I feel this runnin blesses me spiritually.
Daily, monthly, yearly, and I aint afraid to kick and bust it lyrically.
Wake up, lace up, pace up then lift up and bliss up.
It starts from dawn and goes on all day long, strong, long strong, long strong.
Now if you're runnin with me yeah, then I'm gonna be runnin with you y'all.
We can run til the day's up.
We can run and get ba-.
We can run til the day's up.
We can run and get ba- ba- ba- buzzed.

(Repeat Chorus)

Poetic Runner #4

L.S.D-ded that keeps me on my feet and the streets.
Doin 20 miles then freestylin so poetically.
Here to believe I get blissed up up and away.
Each and every day lace up the shoes cruise then levitate.
Bustin beats and rapid fire rhymes that don't hesitate to educate.
Aint no blues in this runnin game.
Keepin me sane and out of my miseries.
Follow the benefits just let your spirit free.
As long as we reach, lift the fist flip and give peace.
I'll be done when I finish my last mile then cease.
Meanwhile, lettin the time fly, pass me by.
Runner's high. I'm L.S.D-ded, L.S.D-ded.

Poetic Runner #2

We be bustin rhymes and kickin the real about the runner's high.
No need to speed, if you L.S.D. then you'll know it aint no lie.
Runnin really relaxed my mind and ask me one more time.
Lace up, pace up, lift up, bliss up can you feel us the Poetic Runners?
Somebody told me (told me).
Gotta give much peace to the L.S.D., L.S.D., L.S.D.

(Repeat Chorus til fade)

I like the nice flow of this song Nick, I could probably use it for a LSD trip if I had to do one without BPM calculated music.

I have just shared some of my songs with someone on youtube and he thinks I should make a youtube video of it. Like I said if I could do 10 songs I would record an album.
