Chest-bursting laughter? 5's
My five cents: Alien 1979 was a great movie, Aliens 1986 was even better, first movie I ever paid to see twice. Alien 3 killed Newt and Hicks within the opening credits and was overall a huge let down. Alien resurrection had a great cast and captured the right vibe, I really liked it, up until those last twenty minutes when it became such a piece of crap that one could hardly believe it. Prometheus was terrible - such a turn-off that I've actually stayed away from watching Covenant so far (I figure I can watch on television eventually).
"Alien: Awakening" is next followed by another future Alien movie~ per Ridley Scott! Hang in there, Peter!
