Parody Song Title:

"Self-lacing Shoes"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

"Back to the Future 2" auto-lacing Nikes are a reality. They're called Nike Mags and have push button controls. Green for tighten, Red for loosen.
Self-lacing shoes,
From movie,
In '16 a reality
worked-out bugs,
science-fiction come true,
Nike Mags will impress you!

Self-lacing shoes,
Like Marty,
When he visited future 2015
with an ankle tug,
and lower lacing too,
Motor-driven, coilspring-winding- no need to improve!

Damn! I want a pair of those shoes!

They are supposed to be available to the public sometime this year. So far, in 2011 and 2015, pairs were auctioned on EBay to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's. MJF was given an honorary pair. You can still get pairs on EBay, but they run from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Not worth it. Better to wait for general distribution, but they will still cost between $250-400 a pair due to the tech. Most expense boots I ever had were GSG-9 Whisper tactical boots that cost me $300!

But will they match my black socks? Those are tattoos BTW - so I can't change the colour!
