Parody Song Title:

"Kryptonite (Ballad Of Christopher Reeve)"

Parody Written by:

Johnny Pyro

I took my horse out for a ride to ease my super mind
I left my suit and cape hidden somewhere that no one else could find
I planned to ride almost a quarter until noon
I felt the early morning dew

I planned to ride almost a quarter until noon
After all I knew I had to be somewhere along with you
I really don't know what happened to me then
My horse he dismounted me off around the bend

If I get clumsy then will you still call me Superman?
If I am paralyzed will you be there on my demand?
Will you stay by my side without superhuman might?
Kryptonite

You called me strong
But now I'm weak,
Immobile in this chair for keeps.
I took for granted all the times I ever walked around.
I stumbled then I bumped my head
And broke my spine
I should be dead
My horse tripped up and broke my back on solid ground!

If I get clumsy then will you still call me Superman?
If I am paralyzed will you be there on my demand?
Will you stay by my side without superhuman might?
Kryptonite

If I get clumsy then will you still call me Superman?
If I am paralyzed will you be there on my demand?
Will you stay by my side without superhuman might?
Kryptonite

YEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

If I get clumsy then will you still call me Superman?
If I am paralyzed will you be there on my demand?
Will you stay by my side without superhuman might?
Kryptonite

Insensitive

This had a lot of potential. "Broke my back on solid ground" I liked. Overall not too bad but for my taste not quite funny enough to really offset the insensitivity.

Since you are a newbie, Johnny, I'll let you down easy. But please be aware next time that paralysis is not a laughing matter, especially for Mr. Reeve.

ah, another decade error. I thought we knew that this song was from the year 2000, so it should go in the 2000s section, not 90s. Maybe it was recorded before 1/1/00, but it was definitely a hit in '00.
